That doesn't look anywhere near as dramatic as it felt...

BTW, Jerry I'd like to get a copy of that session from you some time

          +1.
I got bored watching my in car video. I had to resort to playing it fast forward to give the illusion of speed.

Your welcome Heath, Thanks for working the event.

Here is a lo-res edited version of Sunday's final PDX session. Special appearances by Jerry Ledford & Chuck Schultz. In the original HD version you can see that Chuck threw his numbers at me when he pointed me by...

This is same session as Jerry's clip, so you can see the get loose from bumpercam POV. I recorded all other sessions with the camera in the car on the roll bar. John, if you put the camera a foot off the pavement it also gives the illusion of speed.

Rod - I'll see what I can do to trim the ends (waiting at grid, driving in the pits) off of that session to make it fit on a CD. If it works I'll burn a copy and bring it up this weekend.

I was surprised to lose the number. It's the first time I've been in enough of a headwind to blow one off at TGPR. ;^)

I told track management that I'd like it back, if they found it, but I didn't miss it enough to go looking for it, especially since I'm considering a switch to using my age as my number, as PLN did.

I pulled the car out of the basement today for the first time since TGPR. Turns out Chuck's number left a coupla calling cards...

Unfortunate, however that's what happens on the race track! On a site note, thanks to my nifty EXIF data viewer plugin for Chrome, I now know where you live since your HTC G2 included geolocation coordinates. Nice house btw

Stalker Nick...not sure I was ready for that

And I agree, if that's all I have to deal with after two days of flogging the Miata around a racetrack then I'll take it

. . . the first good reason I've gone to the Chrome web store, since I have an aversion to loading down my browser with a bunch of overhead. Thanks for the tip.

Like that's the worst that Miata has seen on the track ...
