I watched the UStream webcast today and I like the format. The rain poured the whole day and I liked watching it. Sally even looked up and watched some of the runs. It wasn't network TV but what the heck, it was a significant autocross event on the Internet and I know who and how they won. I watched some well known names lose and others win.

The broadcast made me decide to go to the Atlanta Evolution Shootout and I signed up. I am really looking forward to running this type of event.

Less than a week away, I can't believe only three locals are going. Everyone that went to the NC event raved over it.

As many classes that we have that are pax based I'm really surprised there isn't more participation, considering they have cash prizes. Darryl and I must be a couple of knuckleheads considering how lousy the CSP pax is.

Oh well I have a thing or two to pick up at Summit Racing anyway.

The Atlanta Motor Speedway site where the event is being held is incredible. Chris and I went up to practice last weekend. After running zMAX and AMS on back to back weekends I gotta say AMS wins hands down.

Sparky is right! The pavement is so smooth.Loved racing at AMS. And just a thought...as smooth as Mike C. is.........oooh...Beware!!

John....I would go in a heart beat,but first my car is even worst in Pax then CSP cars,but that still would not stop me from going cause it would still be a blast to run.But the main reason is I am finally pulling my engine out this weekend to repair the transmission.Those great lasting British Trans!!One day I will have to drop in a conversion Ford T9 Gearbox.Its a 5 speed which I don't need but with minimal modifications,using my same clutch and it bolts right up for easier shifts and is more reliable.There is only one thing stopping me $3295.00....Yeah! Unfortunately my race season has not started but will on June 24th here in Jax. I am planning on getting up to Alabama for one of ALSCCA local events this year(good reason to visit the family and tag the race car along).I have not had the pleasure of racing at our Verizon Wireless Amphitheater location.Have watched one race out there when we first got the site and it sure looks like a Blast and a great place to race!! He was also the 11th qualifier and 10th in the shootout, the Blue Car was on fire with the right driver behind the wheel.
