I would say that STI that whooped ass in SU would be considered pretty fast, for a street car.

Tom said his best times were in the 30s (not this weekend) in the RX7. SO I would figure any street car in the low 1:40s would be fast. Break into the 30s and you are running with some very fast race cars. The Grand AM Gt cars are running mid to high 1:20s, DPs are much lower than that.

just commenting or miscommenting that one would expect the times for street cars to be a bit slower than a racecar such as Chucks BWM. I was basing that on what I ran last year. However, TRACK IS DIFFERENT!!! A year older but I had been told Barber had scraped/treated/? the track and it was fast again. I guess not, looking at the winning ITA times (I ran a 1:46.00X last year Sunday Qualifying). Wish I had been there.

I think I ran 1:50 last year so I was 2 seconds slower. Others were commenting on the track being slower. I'm sure the heat didn't help much either. Chuck, that would make your fast lap a 1:48. Right there with the other slow street cars.

history suggests the silver Evo would give the Civic a challenge. the red one may be faster than a civic but won't run long enough to be a concern.

I figured lol I wasn't taking anything to heart. My posts are generally sarcastic. I was going to but I have one tire that is patched. Doesn't worry me at autox since it's low speeds, but I'm not sure about on track at speed.

Do the PDX Heath. TGPR isn't that fast of a track so the loads are probably less than an AutoX run.
